Wood workshop run by ex-convict men from the Egypt neighborhood of Bogota, ho seek to generate income from the production of wood handicrafts.

OUR STORY

Eighty percent of the male population of the Egypt neighborhood in Bogota who are released from prison do not manage to reintegrate into society. For this reason, the wood workshop ''Carving lives'' seeks to train and generate income for the population of ex-convicts living in the neighborhood. This initiative provides comprehensive support from psychological support, training in entrepreneurship and finance and soft skills to achieve economic sustainability for their families and their community.

OUR CURRENT GOAL

Consolidate the tourist experience to the traveler where he learns about the social transformation of the vulnerable community of the Egypt neighborhood, through arts, crafts and community tourism in the craft workshops developed by the Buena Semilla Foundation.
