Capoeira project in Barrio Moravia, Medellín integrates capoeira, play, and body experience for skill development, providing a cathartic outlet to channel negative emotions and youth violence.
OUR STORY
The Mangle Corp emerged in 2013 in the Moravia neighborhood of Medellín with capoeira classes for children at the Cultural Development Center.
Over 13 years, it evolved by developing educational projects, performances, research, and community cultural management. In 2015, it launched "Capoeira Stories of Peace," expanding to the Complementary School Day program and other regions of Antioquia.
They have achieved international partnerships in Brazil, Mexico, and the Netherlands.
